KOMATTA MUSUKO... still UNDER RENOVATION!

petang tadi, lepas lunch break, HR AGM panggil jumpa dia dalam 'Guest Room'... expected, but not hoping that to happen.
pasal apa lagi kalau bukan pasal 'notice of resignation' yang pak cik submit semalam.
semalam dah kena panggil dengan GM Admin & IMP... dah cerita dah apa yang patut dicerita. ni nak kena cerita lagi sekali...

baru 2 bulan masuk kerja, dah hantar notis...
habis tu nak buat camaner... dah tak ada jodoh...
it's not totally my fault, but my weakness does contribute to the decision-making...
recruited as 'purchasing officer', but since the past image as a 'translator' is too strong, received many requests to translate documents... nak belajar pasal purchasing punya kerja pun tak sempat...

the HR AGM said, "why didn't you turned down their request?". that was my weakness... being a new member, and the requests came from MD and managers, who i assumed had been informed that i was recruited for purchasing post, not translator post, i think i have no reason to turn down the request.

one interesting metaphore by the AGM... we you signed the appointment letter, it is like you tie a knot with your partner! a few months after you lived together, you found that your partner had not been as what you had expected... will you untie the knot?

dear sir, to me signing an appointment letter should not be compared to tying a knot with your partner! there is clause on 'probationary period'... a clause for the employer and the employee to evaluate their compatibility. when the employer terminated the contract, because they feel that the employee had not performed to their expectation, they considered it as a right thing to do. but when the employee want to terminate the contract, they tend to think that the employee is not doing a right thing...

aaahh... sudah lah. aku tender tu, bukannya nak suruh diorang pujuk aku, bukannya nak mintak diorang naikkan gaji aku... i just don't want to work in a place where i have to drag myself to the office every morning, and doing job while busy thinking, "lambatnya pukul 5..."

i feel that freelancing suits my character... but it is still a long way to go... for the time being, i want to enjoy the process...
