One way to overcome boredom at office... :P

This month i am on the weekend shift team (Thursday-Sunday).
Today was a bit 'quiet'... not many tickets sent in. probably the servers are running well, and the gamers are busy hunting monsters... :)
working in a 30-storey tower... with most of the tenants are off on weekends, i think there's only me and my colleague working today at level 29...
agak membosankan since not many cases to handle. masa dekat nak masuk lunch hour, terdengarlah penyampai sinar fm menghebahkan promo pasal komtar towerthon. ingatkan komtar jb ni, tp bila check kat website, rupanya komtar penang... melepas... kalu tak boleh gak join sekaki sebagai ganti sundownn marathon yg x leh join atas sebab kegawatan ekonomi... :(
lalu terlintas kat kepala seorang yg sedang kebosanan ni...
"agak2 berapa lama kalau turun dari level 29 ni ke level 1 ikut tangga?"
"hah??! mender?" member tu blurr jer bila dengar aku cakap macam tu.
"tak der kejer ek?"
"lepaskan boring ni..."
"kalau naik ke level 30, lebih kurang 3 minit. so kali lah dengan 29"
"29 kali 3, lebih kurang 90 minit... sejam setengah?! hurrmmm. okey la pakcik turun gi makan dulu ek"
lalu berjalan la pegi ke lif. dari level 29, turun ke level 16 dengan lif. lps tu ambik nafas dalam2, sambil berjalan ke tangga. resetkan stopwatch dan start. here we go. going down step by step, flight by flight, level by level... 15, 12B, 12A, 12, 11,... 3A, 3, 2 and 1. stop the stopwatch. guess what's the time? 2min 59sec! i thot it will really take 45min... :P
texted my colleague, that it took less than 3 min to go down from level 16 to level 1. got reply, "memang tak der kejer betul budak ni... try naik plak level 1 to level 29".
went to a nearby shop to get roti and ice cream. not really feel to have something heavy for lunch since already have nasi lemak this morning. then back to the office building.
he he he... why don't give it a try?! if it took about 3min to get down from level 16 to level 1, it would take roughly 6min plus alpha to go up from level 1 to level 29... paling busuk pun, 10min la... belum cair lagi ais krim ni kot... buat kira2 dalam kepala...
resetkan balik stopwatch... 1, 2, GO! level 1,2,3,....... 27,28 and 29 at last! tercungap jugak siulll.... and the stopwatch shows '5:23:63'!!! less than 6min!
ais krim pun masih belum jejas... one for me and one for my 'coach' as a token of appreciation for making this happened...
that's one of the way to kill boredom at office. care to join the club? he he he...
